High atop the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, Carole Duncan has made a home away from the noise of civilization. She lives very simply among the kids and critters she loves which include: her grandchildren, bears, raccoons, foxes, crows and hundreds of other birds not to mention two cats. During the long mountain winters when their natural food supply is scarce, she feeds all her furry and feathered friends. Carole has never taken formal lessons in sculpture or painting so she brings a free spirit, unbound by convention to her studio.
